The disorder known as acid reflux is avoidable disease. The condition known as heartburn also called heartburn is a serious condition caused by the stomachs over production of acid that travels up into the esophagus and throat this condition is also known as acid reflux. Few instances are related to a medical condition. Usually however it's caused by something you've done or have a habit of doing. We will discuss these causes and how to prevent them during the course of this article.
Not getting enough sleep can sometimes leads to an attack. Eight hours of sleep is what your body requires. This is the time when your body repairs itself and relaxes after the stress of your day. Lack of sleep is the cause of many problems within the mind and body. In some cases, your mental function becomes impaired. Sometimes you get clumsy. Sometimes your stomach produces more acid than usual and you have to deal with an acid reflux attack. The frequency of your attacks should noticeably decrease when you get plenty of rest. Eat at least three meals a day, don't skip. We all, from time to time, find ourselves overscheduled. When this is your schedule you may find yourself forgetitng to eat. Sometimes it's a conscious choice that we make to maintian our schedules rather than eating regularly. This is sometimes what causes a bout of heartburn. Your stomach acid begins to build up when you don't eat regularly. When the acid gets out of control in this manner your stomach lining will be damages causing your stomach to try to disperse the acid into the esophagus and throat. This is a very easy cause of acid reflux to avoid.
Eating a heavy meal and then bending over can bring on an acid reflux attack. The food in stomach needs to be broken down to be of use to your body so when the stomach is full, you produce more acid. The “flap” that is supposed to keep the food and acid in your stomach is more prone to fluctuations when the stomach is full. You can end up with acid in your esophagus, or even your mouth, when you bend over because that can cause the flap to fail. So, after your meals, stay upright to avoid this cause of acid reflux.
Most of the causes of acid reflux, you are able to control. Talk to your doctor to find out which lifestyle choices you need to change to get this disorder under control. With just a couple simple changes, you can start feeling better.
