Mobile Gps Tracker

In the earlier days of GPS, they were generally viewed as for those with a bit more money than most. These days you can get a GPS app for your cell phone! Since it seems everyone has a GPS, you can now buy almost any kind of extra, or accessory, for it. Like all other things in life, the range of differences exist in the area of GPS unit accessories – have no doubts about that. That all compelled us to do our own style of research about the most wanted GPS extras. Want to know? Then turn the page and read on…

There are different categories of popular accessories, of course, and our first example is the Garmin Portable Friction Mount; people like to buy it at the book place – (Amazon). No suction cups to deal with that get old and rot; this unit is based on friction… the name is a dead give-away! One reason this is popular is because it works very well with dashboards with unusual characteristics such as a high degree of angle or rougher than normal texture. The driver, or passenger, can read the unit display in odd lighting conditions because the unit can be adjusted. If you drive a Prius, then you'll love this one. It is an economical smart option to shop by brand for your accessories. Universal products are widely available but it is always better to shop for brand specific items that were made for your GPS. Your GPS unit likely has many brand specific accessories that were developed to work in tandem with your system. Those universal products don't always work like they are supposed to. One really good reason to avoid universal accessories is that they rarely outlast the brand name ones. You don't want to have to replace your accessories very often because that could get expensive!

The traveling cyclist should never leave home without the Garmin GSC 10 Speed/Cadence Bike Sensor. This piece of gear figures out your cycling speed for you. It's easy to use because it mounts on your wrist. This particular sensor self calibrates and is used to calculate your speed and how many pedaling strokes you do each minute. This makes it a worthwhile accessory even for someone who is riding a stationary bike at home or at the gym. You won't have any compatibility issues with this sensor and the Forerunner 305, the Edge 305CAD and the Garmin Edge 305. This sensor comes included with a 1 year warranty package.

There really is a lot of difference with all the various GPS accessories available. We've seen plenty of discounted versions from the less expensive retailers. Doing this however can be dicey because discount accessories have a way of breaking or malfunctioning just when you most need them to behave correctly.

Thankfully, most accessories-even the higher end ones-are affordable. All you have to do is make sure that you've done your research so that you can get the best accessories possible without having to break your bank account to do so.
